V7 - Updating from XML feed

I'm not really sure how this would be possible, but I thought I'd just ask anyway in case someone has found away...

If I have an XML (or similar) feed from a supplier that is updated daily with stock and price details, is there anyway to use that with my actinic site?

ie. I could import all the products and descriptions etc, but how do I sync the price and stock details on a daily basis?

ps. I would have though this had been asked before, but I did search and couldn't find anything...

The XML file could be loaded into Excel 2007 and then externally linked to the database perhaps. You'll probably have some jiggery=pokery in between to sort out field mapping no doubt but might be achievable.
