    Shipping Options not Showing in Checkout

    Hi guys. I have a problem I hope someone can helps me with.

    Due to the RM strikes we have addded an option to use a courier service in checkout, problem is that the drop-down menu is not showing and the customer is not offered a choice; instead the standard charge is automatically applied.

    Shipping is defined by weight because a few products are cheaper to ship. Default weight is set (and this applies to most products in store) with a few receiving free P&P and others receiving cheaper postage. The values for the courier service has just been set to the default weight. I have attached a couple of screenshots. I am running Actinic Business 7.03

    I just can't see what I am neglecting to do. I have read through all the threads but can't find the answer.

    Have you checked that "Available online" is checked in the properties for each category?

      Where is that field defined? When I check properties all I get is name and description.

        Sorry - not a v7 expert so not sure. In later versions you right click on the class e.g. First Class Post and check the relevant boxes there.

          Problem solved. For anyone else with the same problem I had inadvertently selected "do not allow excess" for the courier option instead of "Take highest value in the table".

          Thanks for your replies guccij (the V7 does not have those options).
