Problem Downloading Orders

Hi Everyone,

I run an online shop using Actinic v7 Version 7.0.5.0.0.0.FJBA.

Recently, my web designer (who uses Actinic v9) made some changes for me so I did a snapshot and sent to them, then they made the changes and uploaded, but now I get the following error message when I try to download orders: -

"An attempt was made to access an order past its end. An expected EOF found when reading an order."

Is this due to two different versions being used? If so, how do I resolve the problem?

I am thinking about asking my web designer to send the snapshot back and I'll re-import into v7 again but I don't know if this will cause problems.

Any help would be really appreciated as I am totally stuck!

There's no way you can import a V9 Snapshot into V7...

Having said that I find it hard to beleive you designer could make any changes using V9 software and not notice any probems/omissions when previewing the site.

How did you send the original snapshot? Didn't you keep a copy?

What has your designer said? Have you searched the forum for that error?

Your designer needs to make the changes for you in V7 not V9. As Rich says you cannot import the snapshot from V9 into V7, Actinic is not backwardly compatible over major versions.
