Payment Method Selection

I'm setting up alternative payment methods.
At the moment they appear as a drop down list on the checkout pages, so only the first method is visible.
From my experience, I think people will miss the other payment methods... (you know what people are like !)
Does anyone know how I can change the payment method list to radio buttons, with all the methods displayed?

Hey thanks for the quick reply and pointing me in the right direction.

Unfortunately, I cant seem to find the section in the AUG thats mentioned.

I've looked at page 64 in the AdvanceGuide_7 and cant see anything about it.
