Unable to make changes to index.html page

Hi

I'm using Dreamweaver in order to try and make some changes to my index.html page. I save these changes within Dreamweaver return to Actinic and upload to the site however, the changes do not appear. When I return to Dreamweaver I have the message that the file has been modified outside Dreamweaver. If I choose to upload the modified file back into Dreamweaver the file returns to it's original code.

Can anyone please tell me why Actinic seems to over-riding the changes I've made to my index.html file and how to go about keeping the changes?

If you are using Actinic to create your index page then you need to edit either templates in Actinic, your brochure pages or your product pages to make changes rather than editing the files directly. If you edit the files directly then they will be overwritten when Actinic next uploads because the files are regenerated as part of the upload system.
