Catalog and Business sites on the same computer

Hi Forum,

Does anyone know how you can control catalog and business sites on the same computer?

Will the business version accept catalog auth keys?

I know the answer is probably to buy developer but I cannot ask my clients to do this and I am not rich enough to afford it yet!

Hi Alex,

You can run catalog and business on the same computer, Actinic is a single source program that is configured by the license key that you enter, so for the same Actinic Ecommerce program you can run Order Manager, Catalog, Business, Actinic 25 and Developer without conflict. The only limitiation is that they all have to be patched to the same version, so if you have a client on v6.0.1 and another on v6.1.3 you have to use two machines for devlopment or use a virtual machine system such as VMWare.
