    Catalog with brochure pages

    Hi,

I have my catalog buit with brochure pages but I want Online Catalogue to appear directly after the Home Page. The problem I am having is that every time i close and re-open catalog, the Online Catalog is pushed to the end of all brochure pages so I have to manually drop it back to the top of the list.

Is there a way around it or can Actinic implement a fix in the next update.

Also, I have updated to the latest version of catalog 6 and when i create a new poroduct, the popup page is still not being created in the form info_PRODUCTCODE.html, nor are the custom height and width for the popup being passed to it.

    Please help!

Brochure pages are kept separate because they are not integral to the shop. Can you tell me why you want the online shop to be directly after the brochure home page in the catalog?

I can't recreate the problems you are having with the pop-up windows, so can you send me a snapshot via the contact us link below (please mark it for my attention). If the snapshot is more than 10MB in size please let me know as our systems reject any attachments larger than this.

      Hi,

I need online catalog to appear before the brocure pages because my final 2 brochure pages have invisible images (hence they cannot be seen directly) but are linked from elsewhere.

The fact that brochure pages are not integral is irrelavent: If i want my catalog link to appear directly after the home link on the index page i should be able to!

http://www.calibresoftware.co.uk is the site in action. Hacing catalog at the end would leave a big gap of blank space becase of the invisible images used to hide a couple of brochure paged from being linked on the bar.

The site snapshot is about 40mb so i'm not going to be emailing it to anyone!

Can someone please tell me whether it's possible to have "Online Catalog" as the item following the homepage and not all of the prochure pages.

As a customer I am surely entitled to have it appear wherever I want in the list of links, not just where actinic tells me where I have to have it....

Also, is there any resolve on how to make actinic start making the info_ pages names correctly?

I have this working and no problems as you describe.

You can do this if you dump the catalog generated brouchure pages.

Right, I'll get some screenshots for you with regard to the product pages.

I don't want to have to drop the brochure pages - i *should* be able to have them in the order i wish!

I'm afraid the link to the Actinic store will always appear at the bottom of the list of links. I'm sorry it does not work in the way you require, and I have added your requirements to the wish list.

One thing you can do is to edit the Brochure Primary template to remove the variable for the navigation bar and replace it with your own custom navigation list.

With regards to the naming of your pop-up pages, I look forward to receiving your screenshot to see exactly what the problem is you are having.

If you need more detailed answers quicker, can I suggest you consider purhasing Actinic Cover in order to receive telephone-based technical support.

                Thanks for the reply Chris.

I have attached my new product screen. Before, Catalog was putting the product code after info_ in the extended info page, and also put a default width and height into the boxes - as you can see from the screenshot, neither is being put in automatically.

It will generate the filename of the pop-up page once you have clicked 'OK' on the Product Dialog.
