calculation for shipping costs

How is the best way to set up my shipping & handing charges given the following:

I wish to ship to different zones where each has a different minimum charge which includes the first 10kg thereafter all additional weight is the same cost.

I wish to calculate overall by weight.

e.g. Zone 1 Min charge £15.00 inclusive 10kg therafter £1 per kg

Zone 2 Min charge £18.50 inclusive 10kg thereafter £1 kg per kg

etc.

Set up your shipping to charge 'by weight'.

Right-click in the white rectangle and select 'New Zone'.

Call it 'Zone 1' and add the countries into this that you want. Click 'OK' when ready.

Right-click on your new zone and select 'Add Class | Standard Charge'.

In the grid:

Weight in kg | Cost
10.00 | $15.00

and set the 'Excess' to 'Increment the highest value in the table by '$1.00' per '1.00'
