    meta tags

    I am inputing my meta tags and keywords as shown below, but they look like the attached file when i view "SOURCE". for example it changed the dash (-) to : "and sign" and number sign.
    why does it change it?
    is that a problem when search engins try to read my key words?

    It has actually been changed to &45; which is code for - so I think it should be ok. All punctation is dealt with in this way. (I can't remember why though).
