Can someone tell me how to do this please? can i copy the html pages from the server and paste into the siteHTML folder

    Thanks.

I'm unsure what you want to do...

unless you have a snapshot of the site (or a copy of the site1 folder) you will have to rebuild your site from scratch.

if all you have it the live site with html page, you can copy the html pages from the web, put them anywhere on your pc. Then copy and paste the product detail from each html page back into the application.

Are you sure you haven't got a snapshot anywhere? ie flashdrive, DVD, or online storage?

      Hi Jo.

      Thanks for your reply.

Yes I have imported a snapshot, however this is 6 months old, The website has the new pages, can i just copy and paste the html pages from the server into the site1 folder and do an upload?

The siteHTML folder in the site1 folder is currently empty as this has not generated the pages yet.

      Thanks.

I'm afraid your in the same boat as everyone else who asks this (about one every two weeks who trusts their business to a single computer without making any regular back-ups).

Unless you have a proper backup of your system or a current snapshot of your Site, then all you can do is manually recreate the missing products and Sections.

All you can use your web-site for is a source of copy / paste text and right-click / save images hosted there. There's no way to recreate your Actinic database. from the website.
