Breadcrumb and how to align them

    Hello

I am currently design a new template for a live site and have hit another wall of a problem.

How do you make the breadcrumb trail sit on the left hand side of the template. I have got one part of it sitting there, the first part. But all items after the 1st one sit below the first one and not next to it as I thought it should.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Glen

Can we look at it too?

You need to upload the site and point us to a page that shows the problem. We can't really help if working blind.

A URL always helps. You can see it and can't fix it. To provide a fix from what you provided would be highly unlikely and involve a number of guesses. We need to see the live code almost all of the time, thus a URL.

            Hi Norman

Not sure I can do that as the current site is live and I am just trying parts of the template out.

I have looked at the Act_BrochurePrimary template, but can not find a reference to it. I have aligned the link on the template Act_ParentSectionsLink and that makes it appear on the left, but the others after that appear below.

            Can I send the file?

            Thanks

            Glen

You can upload the site in test mode or use a temporary domain and upload from another PC whilst testing.

A snippet of HTML in isolation is unlikely to be of much use. Expecting someone to build a test site for you based on your code so they can see what's happening is also asking a bit too much.

Actinic V7 has a "Test Mode" (off the Web menu) that lets you upload to a "test" sub-folder of your live site without affecting the real one. See the Help for more details.

Get a cheap test domain and upload to that. It's the only real way to both test and get exterior help.

                    Hi Duncan

                    Thanks for that,

Can you point me in the right direction.

                    Thanks

Blimey that took a long time.

Rigght here is the URL to the test site

                          http://calmproductions.com/acatalog/...log/index.html

The site is still being worked on and some of the pages have the old templates.

Hopefully you will be able to see what i am doing wrong

                          Cheers

                              Hi Louise

I am just re uploading it. It does take a while to do.

This does not affect my sales on the live site?

                              Thanks
