    CSS Issues

    Hello,

I have finished a site upgrade and the site is now live, but I am having 1 problem. When I set the site up using the test area the style sheet was fine and displayed correctly. Now for some reason with the live site the font is defaulting to Times and not verdana. Any suggestions where i could be going wrong.

If you use the firebug addon within firefox and hover over the areas in question (inspect), it will not only tell you the clases applying the styles, it will tell you on which line in which stylesheet. It's a fab for stuff like this, designers use it all the time. Times New Roman is defined somewhere for some reason and it's probably inheriting it. Unless a font has not been declared at all, as that means times gets used as that's the default browser font i believe.

Thanks for the responses, as a test I uploaded the test site and that is displaying the CSS correctly

      Main Site

      http://www.calmproductions.com/acatalog/cti.html

      Test Site

      http://calmproductions.com/acatalog/...talog/cti.html

And the actinic.css file is in site1. I looked at both pages in firebug and the css looks different.

So am still at a loss at to what is going on

      Cheers

I have finally refreshed the website. I have a poor connection here.

It is now picking up the CSS file ok after the refresh.

        Thanks for your help.

        Cheers
