fragment links variable

i have a brochure fragment within a section of my that contains:
1 product image
1 product title
and "view product" image button

the view product image button is written into the template obviously as it is a constant across many fragments.

my question is how do i utilise the fragment detail [LINK] function within a template so i can add the link defined for the product image to the "view product" button as well?

i no i can create a customvar to cover the job i require but i was hoping that there is already a netquotevar (something like NETQUOTEVAR:FRAGLINK) that allows me to achieve the result i want.

There's a NETQUOTEVAR dictionary in the V7 Advanced user guide but there's nothing for fragment link. You may be able to use Javascript to construct a link.

ah ok i can see this turning into a bigger issue than i first anticipated.

i cannot use a customvar as i suggested because i have several fragments on a single page and i cannot define a customvar for each individual fragment.

also rather unfortunately for me i am not familiar with writting javascript. i do like your idea however. can anyone think of another workaround that i can do or know of anyone who has used a workaround like peblaco is describing?
