specified username / password incorrect

hi

i've got a client who can't upload, receiving a message that the specified username / password is incorrect

i can ftp to the server fine via WS_FTP using the same username and password, and the client can download orders fine too

any ideas?

Get the client to run Advanced / Network Setup / Test and report what happens.

it was the same message - specified username / password is incorrect - but since i posted, it's started working ok - the client thinks it might be down to her son using a different windows personality on the pc, which she's now deleted

Glad it's fixed. Let's hope her son is an adult. If he's a teenager (or younger) , tell your client that running an ebusiness on the same system as he uses is crazy.

Nearly every Internet connected system I've seen with a juvenile user is hopelessly virus infested.
