shipping cost on multiple orders

Does anyone know how I can get my settings to calculate a "total" shipping cost for multiple orders based on overal weight? It seems to have started working out the individual shipping cost for each product & adding them together at the end rather then the final total weight.

Hi Steve

The shipping by weight should work so that if a number of items are ordered, the weights of these items are added together and the shipping cost is given by referencing the shipping table with weights against costs.

If your site is working differently, please post the shipping table (and it's zone and class), some example products (and their weights), and the site URL.
