In the Email box there are currently four choices of email templates:
Customer
Order recv.
Payment recv.
Order shipped
User defined 1 (feedback)
User defined 2 (referral)
User defined 3 (product return code)
Is it possible to ADD say two or three USER DEFINED templates?
This is particularly important for sending out emails 72 hours later with a customer feedback questionnaire, and could also be used for special offer announcements, referral (refer a friend – save £5 off you next order) emails, and returns policy/instructions to existing customers.
Currently, we amend the actinic templates to paste in our own feedback survey template; however we have to delete/amend certain properties from appearing in the email subject box e.g change “order shipped” to “feedback”.
Is there a way of changing the template code to do this automatically and then saving this as a new email template that can be selected from the drop down box in the email template section?
