    Snapshot errors - file locations

We're preparing for an upgrade to V10 from 7.5MU and I've just run a snapshot. It comes up with hundreds of errors - all the same - relating to the location of the files we use.

    for example:

    (File ExportFiles.cpp, Line 578) - The file
    \Shane\data\actinic\Sites\tutor2u\shop-images\acatalog-bus-gcse-new-edexcel-unit1-introductiontosmallbusiness-companion.gif was not found System
error 3 - The system cannot find the path specified.

Our Actinic store is in a "tutor2u" site hosted on a windows small business server. It runs fine; uploads & previews fine too. But the snapshot can't seem to locate all the image and other files used in the site folder.

Our Actinic Cover doesnt support V7.5 anymore

so does anyone have an idea about how I can fix the snapshot errors?

That file name and path is a whopping 123 bytes long. You may be running into a path length problem.

Try shortening that image name (and reselecting it wherever it's used in Actinic). If that particular error goes away, then you've found the reason.

      Thanks Norman!

I tried that - but with no effect

same problem exists for files with very short names

      e.g.

      \Shane\data\actinic\Sites\tutor2u\cart1.gif

might it be something to do with the use of a windows server?

I've no idea. I've never run Actinic in that way.

Hopefully someone else will be able to assist.
