Adding price to the section level.

I have thumbnail pictures of my products as section choices and then then have just one product per section.

Is there any easy way to have the price of the product shown at the section level?

Sadly no.

You would have to create a new custom property called 'Price', and then enter the price value in the 'Properties' tab of the section. Then include 'CUSTOMVAR:PRICE' in the section link layout template.

Probably just easier to modify the Act_Section Line templates then as most of my products have the same price!

You could set that CUSTOMVAR Chris mentioned at the Section level and then only change it at the product level for any different prices.
