    Mandatory Issue Number on SOLO

We have set SOLO cards to have mandatory issue numbers in our Payment settings, but the website does not flag it up as a required field, and allows customers to ignore it.

It also doesn't appear in the Credit Cards for Authorisation report whether they enter it or not.

    What am I doing wrong?

    (we are using 6.1.3)

Actually, I've just solved the problem of it not displaying on the report (my fault, Order Processing on a different PC with different settings in the Payment configs).

However I still can't get it to be a mandatory field on the site.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to implement this?

We curently have to telephone everyone that places an order by solo to ask them for an issue number which not only takes time, but also makes us look like idiots

The best way I can think of to get the field required would be to select the CVV2 option for all of the cards you accept.

We have selected both the CVV2 and the Issue field for SOLO cards, but it still doesn't set Issue Number as required on the website

You need to select CVV2 option for all of the credit cards you handle, not just Solo. E.g. Master Card, Visa, etc.

            Does this help?

Sadly, no. We already have the CVV2 option ticked for all cards.

Thanks a lot for trying to help though.

That’s odd . Is the site heavily customised?
Your payment.fil may not be updating correctly.
I would suggest deleting all the *.fils located in your Site1 folder locally and the acatalog folder on the web server. Make sure you have recent backups.
                Do a Web | Refresh.

                Any luck?
                Regards,

Not heavily customised at all really, and I did a full refresh yesterday. Still no luck
