Is there anyway to turn off the referance page referal in the simple search i.e send a variable.

I want to use the simple serach on an external frameset page. I have cut & pasted the relevent code into the external page.

The shoper is presented a list of search results the shoper then clicks on the relevant product.When the shopper click on the product and confirms the purchase the shoper is brought back to my external page and not the product page.

Have you tried including the following hidden field into your search form?:

<input type="hidden" name="ACTINIC_REFERRER" value="http://your.URL/acatalog">

That should mean that customers are returned to the home page of the store after confirming the purchase.
