Help Help I cant recieve Orders

    Help

We are having problems downloading orders for a new site just gone live, heres the situation:

    1. Site developed on pc using V6.1.2 and existing authorisation code
    2. Site1 folder written to CD and transferred to new PC using V6.13 and new authorisation code
    3. Product info and other shop data entered into Actinic to complete site
    4. All web server folder wiped and site refresh activated
    5. Site works fine but when attempting to retrive orders we get the following message

    "
The server scripts are incompatible with this version of Actinic E-Commerce. Refresh the web site.
If order processing is split from web site maintenance then the 2 copies of Actinic E-Commerce must be upgraded to the same version.
If this error persists, copy the pearl scripts from the original sub directory and try again.
Server version = “6 DDVA”. Client version = “6 DHBA”
    "

    Any help much appreciated

    Hi James,

I would delete all the *.pm and *.pl within your site1 folder. Browse to the Original folder and copy all the *.pm and *.pl back into the site1 folder. You will need to delete Actinic's perl scripts in the cgi-bin folder on your web server. Do a Web | Refresh.

If your still doing work on that site you will need to upgrade your 6.1.2 site to 6.1.3

Make sure your all backed up first.

    Does that help?
    Regards,

    Toby Blanchard

When you use the "copy Site1 method" to duplicate Actinic you also need to copy and paste (via a textfile) the information in Housekeeping / Security. This info is held in the Registry and doesn't come over with the Site1 trick.

Also it's a good idea for everyone to create such a texfile and keep it somewhere safe as this info is essential if you have to re-install Actinic or Windows.
