    Re-installation problem

    Hi,
    One of my clients has 2 sites with using Actinic and has had to re-install both of them onto a different PC. Site1 was originally created in version 4 and has since been upgraded to V6, site2 was created in Version 6. Obviously he has 2 different authorisation keys.

    He has installed version 6 on the new pc and site2 activates fine but site1 says the authorisation key is invalid. I think he has to install version 5 and then upgrade to version 6? or is this nothing to do with it.

    Hi Deborah;

    When you client has upgraded his v4 site to v6, he would have been given an authorisation key for that site. I believe at the moment, you could be putting in the v4 key in v6, which will not be accepted.

    Might be an idea to contact the person who you had purchased the software from, If it was us, then please contact sales on: 0845 129 4800, and they can help you, if it was a reseller, then they should hold a record.
