I'm using Actinic V4 to assemble a catalogue of motorcycle spares for different motorcycles.
The idea is that I want customers to enter via their own motorcycle model, they will then effectively be in their own catalogue, and unable to order the wrong bits.
Given that products such as engine oil are common to different machines, Is there any way that I can replicate a product in more than one parent product group, and retain it's original product reference code.
For example, If I put item "22" into product group A. How can I place the same product into product groups B ,C and D ?
I am aware that I can copy and paste item "22" into product group B, but it automatically gets given a different product reference number by the software, and effectively creates another database record.
Is it possible to upload item 22 into a parent product group, and then "link to it" from other product groups.
I hope that's clear to you all, and that there's an answer out there!
Compliments of the season to you all.
Best wishes
