Shipping Destinations

When setting up shipping charges is it simpler to have say
UK
Northen Ireland
Isle of Man
Channel Islands
All other EU counries ( My shipper has a standared charge for shipmet to any EU country)

But with the introduction of a load of other countrys into the EU in the forseeable future I'm concerned about some of the possible scams coming in from the new member countries. Does anyone have any views on this?

if you create a zone for EU you can then choose which countries you want to accept orders from within the zone
