    Paypal Payment Error Message

Hi, further to my earlier 'Upload to new server problems' which has now been resolved thanks to the support from Actinic (hugely grateful, thanks) I am now having payment problems with Paypal. Cards are working fine since the upload and so was Paypal but Paypal payers are now getting an error message. Does anyone have any ideas?

I searched the forum, loads of the Paypal orders going into PSP issues but nothing I can find that relates to this. Seems to be server based which is why I am slightly surprised that Actinic are unable to help this time as I'm on V7 but my new hosting is with them???

What was the problem? (this will help others who read this thread later)

        Sorry for the late reply.

To be honest I don't know why? It just started to work again. I asked the Actinic support team to review their stance as the message seemed to suggest it was a 'server misconfiguration' issue and seemed to not necessarily be a V7 problem.

If something was done at their end I am not aware of it but it did just seem to resolve itself for whatever reason. It was a fairly frenzied time after the failure of the old host server (not Actinic), the new hosting (by Actinic), and lots of sub-domain re-pointing and all the usual panicky stuff so maybe something somewhere was having a bit of a freak out which righted itself??

I have to say that the support desk were great all the way through the transferral onto their server.

I am evidently going to have to bite the bullet and upgrade to V10 and I guess then to V11. As a technophobe I'm full of trepidation because every time I go through the design wizard my site looks absolutely terrible and I keep giving up.

I am off to the V10 section to see if there are any pointers to guide me through. I have no doubt that some of the forum members will have had similar issues so fingers crossed.
