    Cart summary box not working on one machine only

    The Items/Value Cart Summary box is not being populated on my clients machine. It works OK on any other machine except his!

    I have had another problem with his machine - caused by Norton Security 2004 being resident on his machine - this problem was remedied by adding a line to a script as advised in GC170 ("Why do some buyers get an error or are shown a directory listing of acatalog or are shown the default page in acatalog after adding a product to the shopping cart? ").
    Could the current Summary box problem be related as well.


    I have checked the server time is correct.

    Any ideas greatly appreciated.

    Try checking the browser script settings, especially in the security zones.

    I do not know about Norton Security settings but you may need to adjust it to enable scripts to run.

    Also it may be worth checking the time on the PC as well as the server

      What a star. Went back to the client and guess what? His clock was exactly 12 hours adrift. Problem is now solved.
