Vat, Permutations Drop Down Lists V7

I need to keep V7 for a few more weeks whle i finish V10, I have just found a previously sorted problem has returned, all my info on the fix for the problem has disappeared - sorry.
Using components, attributes and choices I enter component prices ex vat in the permutations table after filling it. Any changes to vat are not reflected in here. therefore the prices in the web site for the drop down lists only have vat at 15%. I know a fix exists,could someone tell me where I can find the code and where and how do i install it

This is usually done by multiplying the ex-vat price by the VAT rate. So X 1.2 at the moment.
