    Search results return page

    Hi there

I want to be able to alter the link on the page which is displayed when a simple search has been performed and no results found

If I change the '$s' value in Design Text Phase -1, ID 23 to a URL of my choosing, could this line also be displayed at other times i the catalog (other than aftere a search) making a hard coded reference impractical?

    Regards

    Jos
    Thanks

That message in ID 23 is used in a couple of other places so best not to change that.

The problem is that when no results are found, the search script will automatically redirect you to the last HTML page you were on. This URL is a dynamic parameter, rather than just one lying about in the scripts you can edit.

I've had a look at the SearchScript.pl and I can see where the 'No matching products were found' message gets pulled in (just search for '267'), but I don't know how to really change it. You could always add a link into the prompt itself, but this will not change the eventual meta refresh re-direct.

Not much help really - sorry.
