    Images in sub-directories

    Hi...

    Newbie here...

I have a site with hundreds of images which I could do with putting into subdirectories off the main acatalog.

Is there a problem as when I have tried using subs before Actinic complaints it can't find the file?

    Any advice appreciated...

I had all mine in subdirectories, and the only problem I had was the feed to froogle. That has since been fixed (after I moved about 5000 images, and updated the items!)

I should also add -- be sure the image names are still unique across the entire site, because when they get ftp'd to your site, actinic puts them in a common directory. Or at least it used to work this way. I think it still does.

        Thanks Pat...

        I'll bear that in mind...

Luckily most of my gallery are catalogued and unique.

The other general images can stay in the acatalog directory.

Unfortunately about 40 are active so I will have to go through the tables in the Access database and add "images\" prefixes to them.

Also I think I will try to FTP them all up before the Update to save time.
