    Database problem

On opening Business settings > Shipping and then closing I get the following error message:

There was a problem with the database

    Operation: Updating the [SSPOnlineErrorData] table

    Field 'SSPOnlineErrorData.sFailureEmailAddress' cannot be a zero-length string.

Action: Contact your Actinic reseller or Actinic Support as appropriate

Anyone got any ideas? Developer V6.1.3 by the way

    Hi there

Sounds like your shipping database is corrupted. You could try the following

In actinic go to "Housekeeping | Compact Databases" and select Shipping, and click on OK

Actinic will close down, and you will get a dialog box saying it has been completed try that.

If this fails, then it does sound like the shipping database is corrupted, and your only course of action would be to copy the original shipping database "C:\Program Files\Actinic Ecommerce v6\Original\Shipcontrol\" to your site1 folder C:\Program Files\Actinic Ecommerce v6\Sites\Site1\ShipControl

I have done this but it hasn't corrected the problem. I have also exported the Countries table from the Original folder as I had previously deleted some locations but it still isn't working

        Hi Owen

I would advise raising a support query on our web form. Here is the link

You may be asked for your snapshot

          Hi Owen

There is a more recent thread with a similar sounding problem.

You could try opening the database with Access (assuming you have Access on your PC).

You may find that by simply opening the database with Access, it will clear the corruption. Then just close the database and then start Actinic. This might help you.

          Regards
