    Installing Catalog on client's machine

I am going to install Actinic on my client's pc tommorrow. He has Windows XP, Office 2000 and connects to the internet via the inbuilt modem.

Are there any known 'problems' that I should be aware of before I go regarding this kind of installation?

I understand that I must install the software then import the snapshot. Is this correct?

    Thank you

    Hi there,

There is not any known problems running Actinic on Windows XP and the correct procedure to take a site across is as you addressed, to install the software on the clients pc and then importing the snapshot.

    All the best.
    Thank You

And I'd also take the other way of duplicating a site with you just in case you have problems with the snapshot route:-

Copy Site1 onto a CD and also make a textfile containing the contents of Housekeeping / Security.
