Vat

As I am not vat registered is it possible to hide the Vat Box or anything to do with Vat in the Shopping Cart & Checkout. I do not want to lose this permanently, only for the time being

Hi there,

You can accomplish this simply by turning off VAT in Actinic. To do this please go to View | Business Settings | Tax, set the tax to be 'simple' and uncheck the 'include Tax1' which will remove VAT appearing in Shopping Cart & Checkout.

Yes that ok

But will that remove any ref to vat ie a tick box or any other referance to vat. I do not mean vat calculation as that does not appear. But I do have a check box.

To remove that box please un-tick the 'Allow exemption' in View | Business Settings | Tax.
