ok, can some1 explain in PLAIN ENGLISH how to get actinic to generate the site so i can just copy it to my webserver which is sat next to me, rather than having to bloody ftp it eachtime!

What's wrong with "web=>update website" ?
Yes it uses FTP but if you're on a LAN then it'll fly through it.

cos ftp'ing it across keeps causing actinic to crash half way through uploading it - its really begining to annoy me.

ah ha - fixed it. I was connecting through the webservers public IP not the private - DOH!
