hi

i just got v6 of actinic i currently have v4

could anyone please give me a step by step guide of how to move my site from one version to another?

(the new version is on a different computer, we have tryed importing the site one folder but are having problems)

Hi there,

The easiest way of transferring a site across from one machine to another is to take a site snapshot. This can be done in Actinic by going to File | Snapshot | Export site follow the wizard through which creates a zipped up file consisting all your site information.

Then go to the new machine or the machine which has V6 reverse the process by going to File | Snapshot | Import site.

Please ensure that you have a backup of your site before proceeding.
