Welcome back message

Hi

is it possible to have a welcome back message "username" for a registered customer when they revisit the site? Along similar lines to the one that is generated when a user logs in within the site. If it is how would I go about it?

Hi there,

I believe this is not possible because the welcome message is only taken from 1 prompt from the Design | Text as a generic message.

If for any reason you would like to alter the message, in Actinic please go to Design | Text click on the 'Goto' button and insert the values;

Phase = -1

is there anyway that Actinic could do this with the use of a cookie if the user has previously purchased an item and selected the remember me option?

The cookies are detected by a Perl function rather than JavaScript. There may be a way to write a function to do this, but I'm afraid I cannot advise you with how to do it as it is pretty sophisticated.
