Hi,

I am inserting a different title for each page and have been doing so with a customvar

However I cant seem to be able to use a customvar on the main catalog/index page.

Can anyone help? I'm sure its simple enough...

Hi Gary,

Well for me to get different <title> tags for each section page and subsection page I put in a customvar called CUSTOMVAR:SECTIONTITLES, I have done so by clicking on properties and adding the required title text.

However my problem is that there doesnt seem to be a properties tab available to use on the main catalogue page, only the sections within the catalogue...

If that makes any sense?

You can set a default custom property value for the entire store (which will cover the index page, search etc and brochure) in 'Design | Options | Site Defaults'.
