Shipping

I have a client that wants his shipping to be set to the following

All items to be shipped within the uk to be set to £3.50

Anywhere else in the world to be set to £10.00

How does he set this up...please help someone

Hi there

You will be pleased to hear this is dead easy.

1) Go to 'Business Settings | Shipping and Handling' and change shipping to 'Total Quantity'.

2) Ensure you have got 'By Zone' selected above the white box in the middle of this tab. Remove 'First Class' and 'Second Class' from within the 'United Kingdom'. To do this, highlight them and press 'Delete' on your keyboard.

3) Then delete the 'North America' zone and the 'Rest of EU' zone in the same way.

4) Highlight 'UK' and do a right-click and select 'Add Class | New Class'. Create a class with the name of 'Standard Shipping'. Don't bother with a description.

5) Click 'OK'. Now, in the shipping table grid, click the little '+' and create a new row in the grid with a Quantity of '1' and a Cost of '£3.50'.

6) Set the 'Excess' to 'Take the highest value in the table'.

7) Finally, in the 'If Shipping band not defined' area, ensure it is set to 'Use default charge' of £10.00.
