    v6 Attribute display problem

    Hi all,

I have just upgraded from v4 to v6 - but not uploaded live yet.

In preview, my attributes now display the attribute names above the drop down box for the first one, and then alongside the second and third for the rest which makes the names no longer correspond with the drop downs (see attached screen shot).

Does anyone know how to fix this problem. I've looked in templates, but not being an HTML expert, these are still a mystery to me!!

    Any help much appreciated

    Hi there,

Can you please double click on your 'attribute' and set the radio button to 'New Line' under the 'Separator' area.
    Thank You

      Hi Menar,

Thanks for your reply, but please tell me you're kidding me!!

Our whole site is based on components and attributes, and we have about 2000 lines!

The attributes currently display fine in V4 (see http://dirtbikestore.co.uk/acatalog/...arings_67.html) for example. All our attributes have been set up the same way in V4.

This currently sounds scarily time consuming. Please tell me there is another way to fix them all in one sweep?

Surely we are not the only ones to have had this upgrade issue?

      Thanks in advance

        Hi there,

        Please try the following suggestions

        1. In Actinic go to Advance | Template Manager | Product Variants | Drop Down List area | Footer

Please insert <BR> tag within the template. OR

        2. Please open your Actinic Database (Actinic Ecommerce V6 | Sites | Site1 | ActnincCatalog.mdb)

Open the 'Product Properties' table and then insert <BR> tags in the 'sString2' column on every attribute, which is in 'sString1' column.

        OR

        3. Perhaps you can go to File | Export, this will export your entire store and then inserting the <BR> tags within that file and then re-import the file back into Actinic. (I would take this as a last form of solution as this file can look a bit puzzling if you have never used CSV file before).

        Hope this helps
        Thank You
