    crystal reports

Hi will crystal reports be fixed in the next update?

at present the information it produces for sales analyses are a waste of time. If you have a product where the price comes from a hidden product then the reports do not pick up any of the prices. Our site runs mainly this way. we have a product that has many variations, these variation are all different prices so I create each individual part and hide it, then under the product the customer sees are drop down menus which he selects the variation he requires hits add to basket in go's the price, done, nice and simple.
So you do a sales analyses report or transactions report and yep all the parts are there but where's the costs?

reports that are not acurrate are not worth the paper they are written on.

    Cheers Darren

does any one have anything to offer?

Is this going to be looked at in the version update?

some feed back would be good, or maybe no one else has noticed it?

I am also having a problem with crystal reports. It basically does not show what information I need. Like sales analysis per section.

Will this be fixed in the next update?

The way to show prices against hidden products in the Sales Analysis reports is to ensure that 'Component as Separate Order Line' is checked in the main tab of the component that is being used to select the hidden product.

This will display the prices against additional lines that are selected via a drop-down list. Otherwise, all the prices are placed against just the main order line.

With regards to your point Matthew, I have added this to the wish list. Currently it is not supported in the software.

That is how my site is set up, I only use componant as a seperate order line. This actualy allows the customer to see our part numbers of the part in his basket, not the product he sees on the screen.

Also when printing out picking lists & data entry reports it only shows the associated componant, which is what we want. But the sales analyses report does not put a price against these items.

I have check my set up and they are as follows

          under product details
pricing module = sum of componants
tick in box for no orderline for main product

          under componant details
tick in box componant as seperate orderline

          any suggestions

          Cheers
