2 files i cannot delete

i was having an error with the java applet not matching the catalogue on the store so i took the store offline to do a full refresh..

i got an error saying that the file A000194.cat could not be deleted from the server....retry or cancel

i tried both options to no success

so i connected to the server using normal ftp software and tried to delete the file manually

DELE A000434.cat
550 Unable to delete file - /custom-wizard.com/htdocs/acatalog/A000434.cat
PORT 81,77,20,224,16,99

i am unable to delete the file from the server...could it be a problem with the file or the servfer itself

any help greatly appreciated

Hi Phil

It possible that this file "A000434.cat" ownership, might not be set under your ftp user, rather than webserver.

Might be an idea to contact your hosting company, and get them to delete this file
