How do I remove the email contact form in v7

I am getting multiple spam attacks through the email contact form and I need to remove it. I already did that for one website a couple of years ago but can't remember how I did it.

Does anyone know?

Quite a lot of responses on the community already for this issue.

I simply used the search box using the keywords Remove Email Contact Form v7

Many thanks. I've managed to do it although I had another spam attack after it had been done so it looks like I may need to change the email address too.

Another reason to upgrade then. From v11 onwards, captcha is included on the contact form as standard.

Plus if your email address is shown anywhere on your site in plain text, which is therefore easily harvestable by spammers, you can disguise it using javascript. I will search for the method on the forum as it's years since I implemented it.

Another option is to not use that page at all, instead create a new brochure page and use Machform in a fragment.
