Alternate Shipping

What i am trying to do is:
If someone adds a model kit to there shopping cart then they can only select one type of shipping. where as if they add a different type of product then they can select a varried selection of shipping methods.

the easiest way is by giving one type of model a light weight, say 0.1 kg and the other type a heavy weight, say 10kg.

You can then set the shipping options by weight and have it so that the heavy ones have more options than the light ones.
