    on line catalogue

    Hi
I have noticed on my shop on line if the new section is in the order of lets say Online_Catalogue_HP_Printer_Spares_2[1] it can be search with the search engine such as google but if it is in the order of lets say File_Servers[1] it can not be search by any search engine.
can you let me know how can i change it to online_catalogue_

    Many Thanks
    Nasi

The reason why your page is not being indexed has nothing to do with "online"

Why not use the built in facility in catalog to determine the page names yourself. Its on the layout tab

      Nasi,

This is the third repeat of a post about not being indexed and you still haven't shown us an example we can look at for you.

Please post the URL of a page that you're sure hasn't been indexed and I'll take a look for you.

If I do a search on Google for "accldn cisco pix" i get back the page http://www.accldn.com/acatalog/Cisco_Fire.html which means it has been indexed by google.

Another search you could try is "site:accldn.com -asdjhgsd" which will produce a list of all the pages google has indexed for you site. It shows 72 pages.

I think your problem is not that your page isn't indexed, but that it isn't ranked highly enough to appear in the results of certain searches. i.e. for "cisco pix" I'm sure it's just that you aren't ranked highly enough to appear within the results.

To find out how to get your pages to rank high in the results you need to do some research. You could try looking at:http://searchenginewatch.com/
