Duplicate reference numbers

I would like to be able to use duplicate reference numbers because due to the way our site is laid out, some products repeat in similar sections.

Right now as you know if I try to use the same reference number twice I get a prompt saying it can't be done.

Any way of overiding this?

you can not have duplicate ref nos.
The only way around it is to put a suffix on the end to make them the same but different

We are using Developer, but that counts right?

I don't know, but Jan does. If this is for a client it depends what the client has.

Sorry I was busy sleeping ;-)

It works nicely with developer, very nicely in fact because you can replicate products over sites as well as within the same site (including multisite stock control) - there are some issues ATM though so I'll email you offline about this Christlyh.
