    Customer Accounts

Is there anyway of having the option to pay on account (that we set for some trade users) and not having the option to for other normal account holders. Cant seem to find a way round this but we create trade users credit account (linked to sage for example) but we dont want joe bloggs normal customer from having the option to pay on account.

    This is possible.

Add the new payment method (e.g. Payment on Account) in 'Business Settings | Payment and Security') and then select the 'Limit to Defined Customers' box (last box in the grid).

That way, only customer accounts that have this payment method set as the default method (in the 'Account' tab of the customer account) will be able to see it online.

This is what I did on my store:

        1) I selected 'Limit to Defined Customers' for the 'Invoice With Order' row in the grid in 'Business Settings | Payment and Security'.

        2) I created a customer account with the default payment method set to 'Credit cards captured for later processing'. The customer also had 'Retail' as the price schedule.

        3) I then went online and logged in as my customer account.

        4) When I got to the payment stage, I was not offered 'Invoice with Order' as a payment method.

Seems to work then. Please check your settings. I am using Actinic Developer 6.1.4.
