    acatalog

Is there a way to remove "acatalog" from the

    http://www.whatever.com/acatalog/ARK_Electronics.html

and all the URL's in the site?????????

I am told having "acatalog" will screw up my search enging positioning because all the pages are in in "main" and are in "acatalog".

So, i want to see if I can remove that acatalog text from my site.
If it is possible , please explain.
    Thanks.

The way actinic builds your site, each page has a unique URL, which if anything helps to improve your search engine placement.
In my own experience, we have had no problem achieving excellent placing for many of our pages. The only downside to the acatalog URL is that it can make you look a little generic from the address standpoint, as all actinic users have the same 'acatalog' part of their URL.

This is not true. Actinic as it stands is search engine friendly
