Help - adding insurance costs to Parcelforce charges.

Hi - I have set up a simplified version of the parcelforce shipping rates with delivery costs based on weight.

Parcelforce have an option to insure your parcels for a cost of £10 when the cost of the cost of the contents is over £150, and the delivery is outside the UK mainland (I believe that this used to be included in the delivery cost but is now a seperate option you have to purchase).

Is there anyway in Actinic that I can include this cost automatically when the above conditions are met?

The only way to do it would be to create additional Parcel Force classes, alongside your existing ones, that include the insurance costs of £10. You would just create these classes in zones outside of the UK.

Trouble is, there is no way then to limit this insurance cost just to large orders as when shipping is done by weight, there is no way to add extra conditions based on cost.

Hi Chris - it would be a good idea to add this to the wish list as you suggest as I can only assume that quite a few of your clients will require it.

I believe that this change was only introduced by Parcelforce in the last couple of weeks. Can anyone confirm this?
