overwriting homepage

How do I stop Actinic overwriting my normal site homepage (index.html) when I upload the site? I still want the brochure homepage, so how can I rename it?

I have renamed the Base Page Name, but that page loads up as the first page of the shop, not the brochure home page.

so how can I rename it?

Double click on the house icon in the catalog tree, you can rename it from there.

...or if you untick use as web site home page, this brochure page will no longer be uploaded to the root of your site, it will be uploaded into the acatalog folder instead.

That's useful, I have a site coming up which has the same requirement.

Is it possible to remove the 'Home' link from within the store pages or to repoint it to another page outside of /acatalog/? It links to the brochure home page at present.

It sure is, if you go to Design | Options | Misc you can configure your home page settings there.
