pricing by area

We have a customer who wants to materials by the inch.

Does anyone know a way to configure components so they calculate an area which is then multiplied by a standard price?

Attached is a readme that does just this.

You price the product for say 1 square unit. The product uses the supplied Template which contains width and depth input boxes and some JavaScript that multiplies these and places the result into a hidden quantity field.

The sizes entered are passed in the Other Info field and there are some optional patches to prevent these fields being amended during checkout.
