    Can't set this color

    Hi,

    check out

    http://www.cobhamfinewines.com/acata...iveneto_2.html

See where the little 'hello' text in red is on the left hand side., above that are two links to the upper sections. They are the same color as the background hnce you can't see them.

Try as i might i can't change the color of these links - i've tried inline css styles, div styles and all sorts - how can thsi be done when i want the rest of the text (everything that;s on white bg) to stay green ?

    Thanks,

    Mac

Sadly, that URL does not work.

If you are talking about the parent section links (e.g. Online Catalog > Section > Subsection) then the template you need to edit for those is Act_ParentSectionsLink.html.

If you are talking about the top-level section list in the sidebar, you can access the template for these by going to 'Design | Options | Layouts' and clicking the 'Edit' button next to the 'Top Level Section Link Layout' field.

      Thanks, that's a great help.

I don't recall seeing this kind of info in the help file. I use Dreamweaver extensively to edit sites, what's the best resource for knowing which pages do what ? I didn't know what act_primary.html was until a few days ago !

      Thanks again,

      Mac

Get hold of the 'Designing With Actinic Developer' guide from http://www.actinic.co.uk/support/downloads.htm. It is a good introduction to the key aspects of design.
